A woman aged in her 40s has tragically been killed in a house fire in Clifden, Co. Galway.
Gardai have confirmed that foul play is said to not be a factor in the tragedy. The alarm was raised at 7:10pm last night as fire was seen at a house in Tullyvoheen.
Emergency services rushed to the scene where the fire brigade got the fire under control but sadly found the woman’s body inside the building.
The scene is currently preserved for examination.
