In a tragic story in the US police have confirmed an 11-month-old toddler has sadly died after being left inside a car parked outside the family’s home near Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
It is understood that the child was left in the car after his parents and four other children forgot to bring him inside after unloading food they had purchased in family shopping trip. A police spokesman has said the child’s parents only realised that the young toddler was missing about an hour later, after a panic they found the young child inside the SUV believed to be Ford Explorer. The distraught parents quickly called 911 and began to initiate CPR, but tragically the young child was already dead.
The police spokesman Mr Solowsky told the US media that paramedics continued relentlessly to administer CPR on the way to the hospital, but the toddler was declared dead on arrival.
