There was some sad news announced earlier today as the Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that an Irishman has tragically died in a drowning incident in Lisbon Portugal.
A spokesperson for the Department said the man aged in his 60s and from Dublin, died in the accident on Friday evening.
They also say they are currently in liaison with Portuguese authorities, whilst consular assistance has been provided for the man’s family.
