Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after an elderly man aged in his 80s was hit by a bus in Dublin this afternoon.
According to reports the man sustained serious injuries after he was struck by the vehicle on the Marine Road in Dun Laoghaire shortly after 12pm this afternoon.
Gardaí say the man sustained serious injuries to his legs and was quickly taken to St Vincent’s Hospital were is condition is described as serious.
They are appealing to anyone with any information to contact them at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
