Gardaí in Co Tipperary have sadly confirmed that an elderly man has sadly died following a farming accident in Castlegrace this afternoon.
It is understood the man who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, died when he was loading bales of hay at farm at approximately 1:30pm this afternoon.
Gardai say the man’s body has since been transferred to Waterford University Hospital.
They also say the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the incident.
