According to reports this evening a five-year-old boy from Co Kerry is currently in critical condition in hospital after he fell from an upstairs window at his home in Castleisland.
It is believed the tragic accident happened on Tuesday at his home in Hogan’s Place in the centre of Castleisland.
Gardaí say the young boy sustained a number of serious injuries in the accident and was quickly rushed to Kerry University Hospital in Tralee.
He has since been transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin.
