An investigation is underway after a man aged in his 50s sadly passed away following a farming accident in Co Waterford.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man fell from a ladder whilst working on a farm in Scrahan, Kilmacthomas on Monday.
Gardaí say the accident occurred between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm on Monday afternoon.
It is understood the man fell approximately 14ft from the ladder and died a short time later due to the extent of his injuries.
The Health Safety Authority are investigating the incident.
