Authorities in Majorca have sadly confirmed that a 14 year old Irish boy has died in hospital following a fall from a hotel balcony.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, authorities sadly confirmed that the teenager had passed away at the Son Espases Hospital, in Palma.
Although it is not yet been revealed how the boy suffered the 20ft fall at the hotel in Playa de Muro.
Police have said the boy’s mother tried desperately to save him but unfortunately he slipped from her grip as she was trying to pull him to safety.
The boy sustained serious injuries in the tragic incident occurred shortly after midnight on Wednesday, however despite the best efforts of medical staff the teenager sadly passed away in hospital on Thursday.
