The Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed this morning that an Irishwoman has sadly died in Kenya during a recent trip to the country.
It is believed the woman suddenly passed away whilst attending a charity fundraiser that was due to climb Mount Kilimanjaro over the coming days.
A spokesperson for the Department said they were aware of the incident and that they have offered counseling assistance to her family.
