The Rock music world is still in shock this morning after it was confirmed that Chris Cornell, known the world over for his roles in bands such as Soundgarden, Audioslave and his James Bond Casino Royale blockbuster hit “You know my name”, sadly took his own life by suicide.
The rockstar was playing with his band Soundgarden on Wednesday night in Detroit, left the arena at the end of the show, went back to his hotel room and hung himself.
Concert goers are mystified after they claim he performed a brilliant gig at would be his very last show.ht.
It’s understood the singer had fought depression for many years along with substance issues.
He’s survived by his wife and three children.
