The death toll from storm Ophelia has risen to two after a man aged in his 30s was killed in Co Tipperary.
According to reports the young man was killed after he was injured by a chainsaw whilst trying to attend to a fallen tree at around midday.
It is believed emergency services could not attend to the man’s injuries due to fallen trees and debris in the area.
