Gardai in Co Tipperary have confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic incident in Cashel on Friday evening.
It is believed the man died after the car he was traveling in hit a fence in Ardmayle, at approximatley 11.30pm last night.
Gardai say the 51-year-old man’s has since been taken to South Tipperary General Hospital, were a post-mortem examination will take place.
They also say investigations into what caused the crash are currently ongoing.
