A 28-years-old male motorcyclist sadly lost his life when his vehicle collided with a stray cow.
The incident happened on the N51 Navan to Athboy road, just after 10.15pm last night.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Navan Hospital.
The road is currently closed, and local diversions are in place.
