There was further tragedy on Irish roads this past weekend as a motorcyclist was sadly killed in a road traffic incident in Co Meath.
It is understood the man was killed when his motorcycle and another motorcycle collided with a SUV on the Johnstown to Edenderry road at around 1.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Gardaí say the man was pronounced dead at the scene, whilst the other motorcyclist was seriously injured in the incident.
They say the man’s body was taken to Navan Hospital, whilst the other motorcyclist was taken to Blanchardstown hospital.
