Gardai have confirmed that a 25-yr-old woman has died after the car she was driving hit a wall in Co Waterford.
The crashhappened in an area known as the Five Cross Roads near the village of Stradbally at around 9.30pm on Thursday and the lady, who was the only occupant of the car, was taken to University Hospital Waterford where she remained in a critical condition for almost 24 hours.
Tragically, gardai have confirmed she passed away last evening.
Gardai have carried out a forensic examination of the scene and are now appealing for witnesses.
