Tragic news this evening, as a 19-year-old Irish student has drowned while swimming in a lake in Spain.
It is understood that the teenager was a language student in a small town in Ciudad Real.
The young man’s body was found by divers earlier today.
It is unclear if he was alone or accompanied in the water at the time of his disappearance.
