Sad news emerges from Thailand that an Irishman has been killed in a car crash.
The man is said to be from Longford and aged in his 30s. He is believed to have been teaching English in Thailand at for the past number of months.
It’s understood that the department of foreign affairs are aware of the tragedy and are in consolutation with the young man’s family.
He was killed in a collision in the Chiang Rai province last night.
