A 52-year-old man has sadly lost his life after being struck by a lorry in Dublin this evening.
The incident occurred on the Emmet Road area of Inchicore at around 6pm.
The man received first aid at the scene and was rushed to St. James’ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
