Chris Cornell, known the world over for his roles in bands such as Soundgarden, Audioslave and his James Bond Casino Royale blockbuster hit “You know my name”, has sadly taken his own life.
The rockstar was playing with his band Soundgarden just last night in Detroit.
Police believe the singer went back to his hotel room and sadly hung himself some time during the night.
It’s understood the singer had fought depression for many years along with substance issues.
He’s survived by his wife and three children.
