Gardai in Navan Co Meath have sadly confirmed that a body has been recovered from the River Boyne on Tuesday night.
According to The Meath Chronicle the recovery was made after a wide scale was carried out on both the River Boyne and Blackwater after two men were reported missing in the past two weeks.
Although the body has yet to be formally identified the discovery comes after rescue crews conducting a number of searches for both John Stokes and Derek Gallagher who went missing almost a month and three weeks ago.
