There was some sad news announced in the past few hours as RTE have confirmed Broadcaster and journalist Séamus Mac Géidigh, has sadly passed away aged 54.
Mac Géidigh who wss manager of RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta’s northwest service at Derrybeg, Co Donegal, sadly passed away died on Monday evening.
Mac Géidigh a huge fan of Gaelic football was dubbed the “Donegal voice of Gaelic games commentary” and was widely respected in broadcasting circles.
He is survived by his wife Dolores and three children.
