Some tragic news this evening, as the 13-year-old boy who was struck by a car on the main Drogheda to Slane Road on Sunday evening has died in hospital today.
The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
It is understood the boy was a Drogheda native. He passed away in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital earlier today.
