Gabby Marsh was celebrating her 20th birthday on March 6th with friends in her hometown of Auckland, New Zealand when she complained of a bad headache and was rushed to hospital.
She was unconscious and on life support having suffered a catastrophic brain hemorrhage, literally hours after her party.
Tragically, her family were told she was unlikely to survive and they made a decision to switch off machine.
Gabby’s mother told of how her daughter went on to save six lives by donating many of her organs.
A Gabby Marsh Scholarship fund has since been setup in her memory and already some €20,000 has been raised.
