There was more sad news announced today as a homeless man has sadly died over the past 24 hours.
According to reports the man died at approximately 10pm in Drogheda on Wednesday night.
It is understood a Garda investigation has begun after a man in his 20s was found in the Mill Lane area of the town.
Gardaí say the young man died after he was taken to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital for emergency treatment after he was allegedly found unconscious.
