A teenage boy from Co Kerry is in a critical condition in hospital this morning after he sustained serious injuries yesterday afternoon when he came off his motorcycle in a single vehicle accident.
The young teen aged 16 originally from Tarbert, apparently suffered serious head injuries in the accident after he came off his motorbike close to his a home at approximately 2pm yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say the boy was a sole passenger on the bike when the tragic crash occurred on the Ferry Road outside Tarbert.
It is understood that the boy was airlifted to Cork University Hospital were doctors described his injuries ass critical.
