Transdev have taken the public’s consideration into account and have decided to fight back.

Luas drivers are imposing more ransom holds by saying they’ll strike throughout the Leaving Cert season.

A planned four hour strike for peak rush hour times has been met by strong words from Transdev.

If the drivers go ahead with the four hour strike, Transdev have said they will dock a full day’s pay from the drivers wages.

The drivers don’t want better conditions, they want their wages increased from €35,901 to €41,895 in their first year. A bonus increase from 6.5pc to 10pc.

Neither side is backing down.
