A 31-year-old man has died in a workplace accident in the village of Curry, Co. Sligo.
The man, who was working as a tree surgeon on behalf of a private company, was helpingto cut down a tree outside a house when a large branch struck him. He died at the scene.
Both the Health and Safety Authority and the Gardai have launched separate investigations.
