A number of tributes have poured in following the death of Labour Party Councillor in Limerick City.
The man Séamus Houlihan sadly passed away in a house fire in the Keyes Park area of the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It is understood Mr Houlihan, who served on the City Council during the 1990s, died at the scene after a fire broke out at his home at approximately 2am on Saturday morning.
Gardaí investigating the incident say they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
