Tributes have poured in on social media for 14-yr-old Elisha Gault after gardai confirmed last evening that tragically her body had been recovered from the river Suir.
In a statement released last night, the Garda Press office confirmed that the body of the missing teenager had been found and her family have been informed.
Officers in charge of the case also revealed that her body has since been transferred to the mortuary in Waterford University Hospital.
Gardai thanked the public for their assistance in sharing the teenager’s image on social media after she went missing on St. Patrick’s Day.
