Tributes have poured in for a 5-yr-old boy who tragically died following a drowning incident in Co Antrim.
It’s believed the boy was recovered from the river at approximately 1:45pm on Saturday afternoon.
A PSNI spokesperson said that a major search was launched after the child fell into the Braid River near Skye Park in Ballymena, Co Antrim, at around 1pm.
They added that he was later found near Tullaghgarley, he was then taken to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
