Tributes have poured in from near and far for TV host Dale Winton who sadly passed away yesterday at the young age of 62.
The well known and liked TV presenter saw his fame peak in the 1990s when he presented the quiz show “Supermarket Sweet”.
In a statement released to the Press Association in the past few minutes his agent Jan Kennedy, confirmed that the star had sadly died.
The statement reads as follows: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home earlier today.”
“While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time of grief.”
Winton who had a whole host of presenting duties, is best remembered for hosting supermarket sweep and a number of shows for the UK’s National Lottery.
