There was a rather gracious act of kindness performed by ex Irish footballing great Liam Brady recently, as he went to see a die hard Arsenal FC who is in hospital.
Former Ireland national and Arsenal legend Brady went to visit the ill fan Martin Toomey after he was unable attend a Legend’s Tour of the Gunners Emirates Stadium. Mr Toomey was just one of many Arsenal fans who applied to take the tour which involves them being shown around by a former player who talks everything Arsenal past and present.
However unfortunately an unwell Martin was unable to make the trip, but he got a different treat instead as Brady who heard of Martin’s predicament went to visit him in hospital recently. The die hard Arsenal fan was clearly touched by Brady’s visit as you can see below.
On Saturday evening, Liam Brady paid an unexpected hospital visit to Martin Toomey, an obsessive Arsenal fan.Martin has been dealing with a lot recently but getting to meet his hero meant the world to him. His reaction says it all.
