St Patrick’s day is officially over for another year and many of us have seen some great snaps of everything that pays homage to our patron saint, but NASA may have just topped them all once again as they released this photo last night which shows our great nation in all its glory.
The amazing picture which was taken by Astronaut Terry Virts, whilst he was on board the space station recently, is a truly breath taking snap which shows the emerald isle and other northern European countries, under a fitting green aurora.
The space agency posted the pictures to their Twitter account recently to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
These pictures are amazingly beautiful, really makes you proud to be Irish.
