The Sunday Game presenter Michael Lyster is reportedly in hospital after suddenly falling ill last night.
RTE have released a statement saying: “Michael Lyster has been taken ill and will not be presenting on RTÉ2 this weekend. Michael is receiving treatment, and his family have requested privacy. There will be no further comment at this time.”
The presenter suffered a major health scare back in 2012, but it is not immediately clear whether or not the current illness is related to that.
