The tragedy happened in Cadogan Sq., Knightsbridge, just before 10am this morning.
Two men sadly lost their lives and at least six others were injured when a balcony collapsed. It is understood that the deceased were part of a removal crew attempting to move a sofa out of a residential property.
Emergency services believe that the combined weight of the furniture and the men caused the balcony’s railings to give way, and the men fell 20ft to their deaths.
