Two pedestrians sustained injuries after being hit by a 4×4 vehicle in Co. Carlow on Saturday evening.
A 59-year-old male was seriously injured, while a 23-year-old female sustained only minor injuries, after a 4×4 vehicle hit them while they were out walking. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
The pair were taken to St Luke’s General Hospital , where their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
