Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two people in connection with a stabbing incident in the city on Sunday afternoon.
It is understood the arrests come after a man aged in his 20s was stabbed on Essex Quay at approximately 4.40pm, yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say the man was taken to St James’s Hospital for treatment, but it is believed that his injuries are non-life threatening.
They also say a man and a woman also aged in their 20s have been arrested and they are currently being questioned at Pearse Street Garda Station.
