Two weather warnings are in effect this evening, ahead of the arrival of Storm Hector tonight.
A Status Orange alert for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo is now in place, and will remain in effect until 10am tomorrow.
Elsewhere, a Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, and Kerry.
Heavy rain and strong winds are expected overnight. Coastal and localized flooding is likely.
