Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two women aged in their 30s following the seizure of €674,000 worth of illegal drugs in the city.
The two women were arrested in two separate searches which were carried out on Friday evening.
It is understood the first woman was arrested after Gardai discovered €4,000 worth of suspected heroin during a routine stop and search at approximately 5pm on Friday evening.
The second woman was arrested after Gardai discovered €670,000 worth of suspected heroin and cocaine at a premises in Bluebell, during a follow up search.
Gardaí say both women are being detained at Ballyfermot and Kevin Street Garda Station’s respectively.
