UK transport company GoAhead has emerged as the winner of the bid to run six routes across Kildare.
The routes in question are 120, 120C, 123, 124, 126 and 130. All these were previously operated by Dublin Bus.
GoAhead beat bids by Bus Éireann, Transdev City Connect, First Group plc, and Synergy (a consortium of Matthews Coach Hire, Collins Coaches and McGinleys Coach Travel Ltd).
