Una O’Hagan speaks about St. Therese and her inspirational “Little Way”

Quite simply, Una O’Hagan is widely regarded as a lovely lady, but there’s more to the former newsreader than just current affairs.

Una was interviewed on last night’s Ray D’Arcy show and spoke candidly about the tragic loss of her’s and her husband Colm’s loss of their son, Sean.

Sean sadly passed away aged 20 a couple of years ago.

Una was interviewed about a new book the couple wrote about St Therese of Lisieux, one of the most famous and loved Saints there is, and about her connections to Ireland.

St Therese is a wonderful Saint who has helped millions around the world receive miracles through her intercession. St Therese had great devotion to Our Lady and she has interceded to Jesus on behalf of people who pray to her in the millions around the world.

St Therese was very kind and sincere but also headstrong. She met the Pope and got special dispensation to become a nun at the age of 15. St Theresa also died very young aged just 24, but like Sean, St. Theresa managed to easily pack 10 lifetimes into one.

Her “Little Way” is an analogy for everything we do is meaningful, everyone we meet is worthwhile and everyday truly is worth living.

Una went onto say that many Irish people ask St. Theresa for help, including Eamon De Valera.

A lovely woman speaking about the wonderful Saint Therese.

Enjoy your retirement, Una.
