Unemployment in Ireland is at it lowest ever since 2008 according to the Central Statistics Office




According to Figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) the level of unemployment in Ireland is now at its lowest since 2008.

The latest figures show that the unemployment rate has dropped to 7.8%, from last months figure of 7.9%, te CSO say the 0.1% decrease comes as 1,500 people found employment in the past month.

However the CSO did reveal that there are currently 169,700 people unemployed, but that figure is considered an improvement givem the fact it is 38,300 less than this time last year.
