Unusual warm start to September set to continue with temperature’s expected to remain high until the weekend

The unusual warm weather spell is set to continue until the weekend at least according to forecasters.

The warm and humid start to September looks set to continue today as temperatures are expected to reach 23 degrees in most places. The national forecaster Met Éireann says that most nights over the week will experience average September daytime temperatures’ ranging in the high teens.

The rest of the week will experience still relatively high temperature’s in the mid to low 20s with sunny spells throughout, however showers will develop later on in the week.

Although the weekend will see a return to normal September weather with temperatures’ expected to drop down to the mid teens, but it is expected that most areas will remain largely dry with many sunny spells throughout.
