If you are an Electric Ireland customer, you may get a cheaper bill by the end of the summer.
Up to a million customers may see discounts of between 4% and 8.5% in their bills in a few weeks’ time.
This follows the company’s recent announcement that dual-fuel customers would receive a ‘loyalty discount’ of up to 8.5%.
The average savings will be about €141 per year.
