Authorities have confirmed that one woman has been killed after a vehicle struck her and many others on the Westminster Bridge during what is being deemed a terrorism attack in the heart of London.
Emergency services are said to be working on a policeman who was stabbed by an attacker, who was shot by a security officer.
Up to 12 people are said to have “catastrophic” injures as a result of a vehicle mounting the pavement and ploughed into them, many are said to be cyclists.
It’s said that the same vehicle proceeded down to Parliament Square and smashed into the railings before jumping out, attacking the policeman with a knife and then subsequently being shot.
There’s at least 15 ambulances at the scene and over 100 police officers.
Westminster Parliament is said to still be in lockdown with politicians stuck in the Chamber.
