According to reports this morning police authorities in Sweden have confirmed that the shooting incident to hit the town of Trelleborg on Thursday night is not being treated as a terrorist incident.
The police confirmation comes after two people were injured and a further two people were treated in hospital following the attack which occurred late on Thursday evening.
Although authorities say no arrests have been made it is believed that the shooting was gang related as the town is known to have a number of gang related incidents in the past number of years.
They also say they have no reason to believe the shootings were in anyway terrorist related, but an investigation is currently ongoing and a number of eyewitnesses have been questioned about the incident.
