There’s no other way of putting it – Leo Varadkar has shown utter contempt for the “average Irish person” – a condescending statement in its own right.
The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has come under major fire on social media after he said in the Dail yesterday that immigrants were more likely to be working than the average Irish person and were more likely to be paying tax.
The comment has been met with disgust far and wide with some people claiming Varadkar is completely out of touch with reality.
Others say that this comment alone is another reason why we should have a serious conversation about Irexit.
