In a straight sets demolishment, world number 1 Serena Williams has been beaten in spectacular fashion in the French Open final by Garbine Muguruza.
Muguruza wasted no time in getting straight down to work and hitting hard. She defeated Serena Williams 7-5 6-4 at Roland Garros’ centre court.
One thing is for sure, Williams isn’t a safe bet anymore for walking through Wimbledon. Things have gotten interesting in the women’s tennis world again.
