Officials at the US Embassy are being advised on a new executive order signed by President Donald Trump which will see a ban of predominantly Muslim immigrants into America.

A total of 7 countries have been effectively banned from applying to enter the United States in what is being deemed the newest part of war on terror in an effort to stop radical Islamic terrorists from entering America.

The 7 countries are: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

The US Embassy in Dublin has confirmed that both Dublin and Shannon airports – both with direct routs to the U.S. will be fully abiding by the order and if necessary will stop citizens from the 7 countries boarding a flight.

President Trump has confirmed however that Christians who adhere to the American way of life will be welcomed into America, in particular from war torn countries such as Syria.
