Law makers in the US state of Ohio are considering introducing a new Bill that will see those who carry out an abortion receiving either life in prison or even the death penalty.
According to Global News, the Bill entitled House 565 will propose that patients and physicians who carry out an abortion be heavily punished.
It is believed that elected state representatives have put forward the Bill following a recent result which will ban all abortions in the state once a heartbeat is uncovered on an ultrasound.
However an abortion will be considered in special circumstances when the life of the baby threatens the mother’s life.
Ohio state lawmakers are looking to introduce the Bill that would classify fetuses as unborn humans.
It is believed the Bill would then make the killing of unborn human a homicide and those found guilty of such an act would either face life in prison or even the death penalty.
